Saying good afternoon now with two contributions. First, one to match my animals. Walt Whitman:( Paul Mesburr(sp) loved him. (sniff)

Now, to match our tsar's fool:

Mark, Thanks for your comment on those sisters and I love Lady Day and Louis Armstrong duet.

You probably can help me as you a great editor. Why does the Cure keep talking? <sigh> I tried to delete it; no luck.

Posted on the wrong thread again.

Although by 1887 strict Medieval tithing had long gone, the Church of England was (and still is) a major landowner.
Quote:

Very "Extraordinary Tithes."
A Contemporary records a not clearly intelligible case of

" Seizure for Tithes.—Three ricks of hay at Shinield, Berks, belong-
ing to the Rev. Bernard Body, clergyman of the Church of England, were
distrained upon yesterday by the Dean and Chapter of Hereford, for £50,
tithes and expenses."

According to a popular Scottish proverb, " hawks winna' pick oot
hawks' een." This adage is evidently at fault if there is no mistake
in the statement that a Dean and Chapter of the Established Church
distrained for tithes upon produce belonging to a clergyman of their
own cloth. And the matter is less excusable as it cannot be said
that it hurts no Body.

Good morning from our alternate radio station here in Florida.

Izz with a y, Just a memory jog. We don't call them threads, ok?

Play or say what you want on the original, and the evolving one.

Strange about your church in England, dear friend. When we moved here, I got a message from the Presbyterian church reminding me that I had given then neither time or money. The minister there didn't even attend my son's memorial service.

A funny memory. We used to write confusing verses about people. One was, he put in his hand and drew out his glove. What was his name?

Andrew, of course. Smile

Love this name song:

Uh-Oh. My response on Radio I didn't work. Odd, because I see my name at the end.

Well, we'll play the Dawning song here then:

Good morning, WA2K!

I listened to "Thursday Night, Friday Morning".
I liked it, but it was quite unedgarlike.
