Cottage pie is the same as Shepherd's pie; the only difference is that the former uses beef and the latter lamb,... I don't know what it is; I've only ever once contemplated pie, and that was when I was watching that schmaltizsch movie, 'Michael,' where Andie McDowell started singing about pie.
