Soory if I made it seem over dramatic. I flat ironed by hair and it came out straight. Like so straight it doesn't move and if it does it stays in one spot. I am black so my hair is coarse and gets tangled every single day. What are things I can do so it moves and goes back in place? Anything that comes to mind. Thanks for reading
@DashDynamic,
Hmm, what happens after you've washed your hair? Is it still doing this?
@jespah,
Yes. I have hair that dries out fast and it isn't good to put oil before flat ironing. I don't wanna burn off my hair or damage it
Why not go to a hairdresser that specializes in ethnic hair and ask them to teach you what you can do to both protect and style your hair at home? Ask what products and styling tools are best for your specific type of hair and ask them to show you how to best use them on your hair.
If you can't afford that, seek out a friend who has hair similar to yours and wears it in a similar style you are trying to achieve. Ask the same questions of your friend and maybe spend a day together shopping for your hair and having her teach you how she does her hair.
@Butrflynet,
That helped a lot. Thank you so much. I didn't want to bother my mom and set her back financially so I tried to do it at home. Thanks again
