Hi, I was really desperate about this song from the OST of this movie. It was sung by Mr Salvatore Licitra. This is a Lullaby song, and I really wanted to know the lyrics, but I could not find it anywhere, , This song haunts me up to the every fiber of my being. This is a very lovely and heartwarming song that I want to sing and share to my children in the future.
It was sung in Yiddish and if anyone has the time to listen and put it in writing, and also if possible the translation in english as well, for me to atleast know the meaning of the whole song.

I have been looking all over for the yiddish lyrics but only found out that they had been translated into Yiddish by Barry Davis.

You mentioned "Close your eyes" and "lullaby" and being sung in Yiddish. I hope this is it; in fact I'm sure it is. It's from the movie The Man Who Cried, by Salvatore Licitra.
