Cell phone help--PLEASE

quick question---apparently my "received calls" call log has malfunctioned---and as a result I do not have incoming numbers in my call log that I need, of which I don't have written down. Is there any way to get a listing of any of the numbers the have called me, versus those that I have called (I know I can get that from my phone company---though they tell me they do not have incoming call numbers). I assume that they have to be somewhere??? Any advice would be appreciated
