But the question is gezzy.....do YOU like Metallica?
Pueo
I'll be sure to tell him you said that.
Rae
I was hoping you wouldn't ask me that, lol! Sorry, but I'm afraid I don't. When I was a teenager I probably would have loved them since I was a big fan of AC/DC, Led Zepplin, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, ZZ Top, Alice Cooper, etc... But I've mellowed "A LOT" since then and now love my country music
omigawd, me and gezzy were seperated at birth.
Pueo - as for the soap, my uncle (haha) absquatulated with my soap making books, so I can't make any... but, rest assured just as soon as I get the books back I'll send you some. What flavor?
there's flavored soap now? man, guam is sooooo backwards.
led zepplin, musical genius.....
The Year of the Dragon
1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000
People born in the Year of the Dragon are healthy, energetic, excitable, short-tempered, and stubborn. They are also honest, sensitive, brave, and they inspire confidence and trust. Dragon people are the most eccentric of any in the eastern zodiac. They neither borrow money nor make flowery speeches, but they tend to be soft-hearted which sometimes gives others an advantage over them. They are compatible with Rats, Snakes, Monkeys, and Roosters.
... and a Scorpio to boot!
Gezzy, thanks for posting the link!
we scorpio's are the best
gezzy ~ some insight on moi.....
I grew up on 'pop' music, switched to Zeppelin and The Beatles during my teens and went back to 'pop' in my twenties.
Wasn't until my 33rd birthday when I somehow started listening to our local alternative rock station.....my best friend took me to see Metallica live and I've been hooked ever since.....They put on one helluva show ~ my voice was completely shot afterwards.....I also learned how to whistle really, really loud that night.....
Amazing thing is, I didn't truly become a fan until after that show.
Littlek
No way! You too? LOL :-D
Pueo
Zepplin was one of my favorites way back when ;-)
Rae
Sounds like a great concert. I just couldn't imagine getting into that kind of music again. My tollerance for anything loud has deminished big time.
Misti
You're very welcome ;-)
gezzy, I still love zz top and the country I listen to know is more bluesy - like Lucinda Williams. But, yeah.
gezzy ~ you'll be happy to know that my collection of cd's contains opera, blues (Johnny Lang ~ hubba hubba) and a bunch of 70's music.....in addition to Metallica.
(My ears are pretty sensitive now......until particular songs are played on the radio.....then I regress.....)
i have everything from mozart to dexter gordon to metallica.
hmmmm, what does this have to do with the chinese zodiac?
You go girls ;-) I think we're all way cool :-D
Pueo
Awsome! Oh oh, I think we strayed way off topic. Sorry Babs
pueo - who cares, it's my thread, we can digress if we want to.
I need to get some Hank Williams.
Pssstt. Hey Littlek, are you sure it's your thread?
