Do you think that gender stereotypes being perpetuated by parents who feel they must raise their sons as female in order for him to successfully engage in the domestic duties?

It is even worse when one's parents bring a child up as a scent hound, to help with the monthly foxhunt.

As a child, i was inculcated with the stereotype that all women are female. I have since learned that that may not be true.
