~ I am a relatively new member so I'm sorry if this is old news ~ But what in the heck do the following abbreviations mean?
And what are some helpful A2K abbreviations for us new kids on the block to learn and become familar with. Many thanks in advance!

'cavfancier' has a double meaning. I am a chef, and love caviar (Osetra please, no overpriced Beluga), and I also own a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is very loved in our house. I can't imagine having any other breed of dog.

I always was unsure of LOL. Does it mean '
:laughh out loud" or "lots of Love"

I always thought LOL meant "Let's ogle Laura" I always looked around for this mysterious Laura, but never saw her.
"Laugh out loud" The whole damn thing is beginning to make sense.
when i first came on line, i thought LOL meant Land O Lakes.
there are good websites that list the more common Acronyms.
My personal favourite is IMNSHO (in my not so humble opinion). I see that one a lot at my fav site. Lots of people with not humble opinions there.
I thought lol was a very strange version of the 'La!' that Lydia Bennet overuses in Pride and Prejudice, because-- the first time that I went online, the first person I spoke to was exactly like her...

His having TB is almost as downright Vile as some of the expressions that you've come out with.
BBBJ means 'bare back blow job', an-- untasteful act-- without a condom.
DATY-- means 'Dine at the Y'-- which means 'give someone cunnilingus.' Less blase' than the first one, then...
NMM- means Nude Mutual Massage; which is today's idea of a euphemism for... mutual oral stimulation.
