The linking thing is optional... but the words still have to be non-associating....

Don't be embarassed, Rod; we all often do it! In fact, I do something even worse; like confusing one thread and another.. or, when extremely tired, changing one syllable with another (like yoghurt and doughnut; or 'I'm going to the Plath.')

Yeah, it is quite weird, isn't it?

What you have to do, is go through the alphabet, making sure that your word does not associate with the one above; hence 'Bill' followed by 'Cosby' would not be allowed. You can, if you wish, make a tenuous link between the predecessing word and your own; but this is optional.
