I live in Tirana - Albania - Europe. Someone sent to me a new tv that works only in NTSC system. Is there any alternative to use this tv in my country. Digital Satellite broadcasting using ntcs receiver is an alternative?

Hi, and welcome to A2K.

I believe you will have to use some kind of converter for that - as far as I know you can only watch DVD's (american) or videotapes (if the VCR supports sending NTSC signal to your TV).
You could attach a computer to it, provided you have a video card with a TV output that supports NTSC. Another trick would be to use a TV-tuner card if you can get one, and connect it to the TV via VGA card TV out.

Digital TV is another story, and you need a special receiver for that. If you look for one, try to find one that can be connected to a NTSC television.

By the way, most decent TV sets allow you to adjust PAL/NTSC on them - look in manual if there is an option.

I am not an expert in these matters, I told you what I know from experience.
