Help. I'm looking for a DVD/VCR Combo unit that does not "require" on-screen programming. I don't mind if it has the option but I don't want it to be the only way to program the VCR. I want to program via the unit itself. On-Screen programming requires the TV to be on, turned to channel 3, and a remote. If someone is watching TV at the time you wish to program a recording, you must tell them sorry you can't watch because I have to switch to channel 3 and set my program parameters. Also, don't want the unit to be to noisy. Does anybody know if a unit like this exists?

Thanks,
SKK
