I had a friend who had a parrot. Her faucet developed a drip and it took a few days for the repairman to get there to fix it. Once the faucet was repaired the parrot started making the drip sound. It did it constantly. It was SO annoying!

I remember her giving the bird the side-eye and mumbling about how they can live for 80 years....

its ok, I guess. Cant the bird remember the words?

Apparently this bird is trying to mimic a musical instrument...

Actually, that's just a little cockatiel i.e. not really a good talking bird, more like an intelligent version of a canary or something. You can buy them for around $120.
