Oddly, I have never read Maya Angelou, though of course, about her. Maybe not so odd, since for decades I get my books at Goodwill, and other thrifts and that is all catch as catchcan.
Anyway, I know many who have read her have loved her a lot, that she was a wonderful woman who went through many tough things in her lifetime and rests now with many many people grateful to her for her grace and wisdom.
Rest in Peace, Maya.
