@FOUND SOUL,
So I have spent about 15 minutes reading..I am comfortable labeling this backlash to male oppression, with the twist that the subject expected class to mitigate the problem, which it did not. Class actually probably made the problem worse, once money was not enough to score with the girls, because for most money helps and thus he would have had run with a bunch of other hollywood upper class who were able to get the girls (because the upper class socializes together) . Because of his class status his inability to get girls was more rubbed in his face than it normally would have been, because boys he knew fairly well were doing better than fine.

@hawkeye10,
I spent three hours thus far and am still looking.

That's ok, you are entitled to your thoughts. I don't disagree with oppression nor lots of twists.

Racism - evident he dyed his hair blonde at 7 and 8
Money - He wasn't really given anything major considering he came from the rich but nor did he think they were, having moved homes so many times in smaller homes on-going until he aged. It was not enough to score the girls he was short in his own admission this was his problem coupled with living in America but being part Asian. He also constantly moved. He liked the European life no judgements, everyone socialised he felt he belonged in America.
Upper class - he looked down, at his feet so no girl of the Hollywood upper class would look at him either. The Forum he joined told him to do weights, he tried Karate but couldn't get it together. He felt he was a loser all round.

You are missing his diagnosis and suggesting that it's all made up, part of America, not real, he was a social misfit.

I've read his story and it's stuck in my mind no offence but 15 minutes can't give you anything on this guy

Pretty much sums it up. The kid had everything that money could buy except pussy from a girl who wanted him. And he had been lied to since birth about what he needed to do to get pussy. The disappointment was too much, he exploded.

no, look at all the pics advertising his class, which in America is almost the only thing that matters. He felt like a made man, the only problem is that he could not get pussy, and he did not understand why because he was doing everything that he had been told that he needed to do to get it.

EDIT: I am not upperclass but I have socialized a bit in that class, the one thing that gives me pause is that when you are upperclass you dont usually advertise it, you dont need to, and it is considered poor taste. He definitely did not feel like a loser, but all of this class advertising is something that I need to give some thought to.

@hawkeye10,
again, this time in his own words:

Being lonely in a beautiful place like Santa Barbara is truly a horrible experience. As I've said many times, a beautiful environment can be the darkest hell if you have to experience it all alone, especially while having to watch other men walking around with their girlfriends. I wish girls were attracted to me. I don't know why they aren't.

@OmSigDAVID,
Part 6 Santa Barbara End Game 19-22. The very next page after this heading, first paragraph...pretty much says it all about this guy.

I also find much of the story to be quite fictional...though he appears quite honest in this paragraph. It doesn't cut & paste.

My suspicion is that he suffered a form of high functioning aspergers.

did you watch the video of him in his car? Strange. I am on board the mental illness angle, but the general anti male environment here does not help.

@hawkeye10,
In the context of this video - what anti-male environment?

To clarify - just because women do not find 1 specific male attractive does not make them, or the environment, anti-male.

So, in that video - what are you referring to as anti-male?

Yes, the parents were told that he had high Asperger syndrome or simular which means he had problems with social skills.

If he was an Aspie I would have thought that, if he was upset over lack of sex, he would have approached the problem logically and gotten himself to the nearest prostitute. Or tried a dating service. Or given up on the non-Aspies and just tried to find himself a nice Aspie girl to connect with.

What a horrible event. Sad

I haven't read any of the posts here yet, except Foundy's beginning sentences, and not ready to read hawkeye on it without more coffee, but I've been following the news. I somewhat know the area where he lives (by driving by on the highway for decades) and find the accounts tragic.

I don't blame the police, at least as yet. They apparently looked into the videos rather extensively and checked gun owning data, after the father warned the police a few weeks before.

On behalf of the Founders of the Bill of Rights, also.
The Founders gave permission for this Republic to EXIST,
subject to some conditions, including NO jurisdiction of possession of personal weapons.

It is tragic that the victims had not been better armed.
Going around un-armed is like drunken driving: its not safe.

I watched that video. I felt sad n sympathetic for him.
I wished that some people had approached him and made friends,
preferably girls. I kept admiring his face, and (negatively) comparing
my own, in my youth. Its worse now. In school, my experience
of not having much of a social life was similar to his, except that
several girls did make social advances to me.

It never occurred to me to resent having little social life.
I considered it to be *minding my own business.*

I hope that Foofie will support me in this.

WTH?

Is not dating him "abuse"?

Unintended consequences of feminism? No woman owed this guy anything. I imagine every woman who came within a 100 feet of him could intuit his hatred of women. The women he wanted had boyfriends, I think that's enough to say they weren't anti-male; they were anti- Elliot Rodger, not anti-male.

Just read that the guns were legally registered, so.. I now think, given the reporting going on by the concerned family, that the police messed up.

edit - I'm not clear yet when the police learned about the videos, so I shouldn't go blaming just yet.
