David Péloquin - Accidental death or suicide?

Does anyone know what happened to David the son of Paul Péloquin? He died in Ivory Coast over a dozen years ago, but strangely enough his name doesn’t show up on any of the deceased family lists.
The story was that he fell from the roof of a 9 floor building, my question is was it a suicide? Who lived with him at the time and would know more about what happened?
