Does anybody know for some contest linked to technology innovation or science ? I would like to have some real problem and try to solve it. Any web addresses would be helpful.

Innocentive is pretty well-known--they allow member industries to post challenges (synthetic targets, etc.). Someone who solves a challenge receives a monetary reward from the company.
