Yup - J says they're the thing to get. Forearm Forklifts - rated up to 700 pounds.

I'll definitely look into that. They seem pretty inexpensive too.

Can't you borrow or rent a furniture dolly? The landlord might help you there. He would prefer you take it out, for fear you might move off and leave it one day.

Looks real good from here. Another possibility that I have used is either a furniture pad or an old and expendable quilt. Roll that thing over till the smooth side is on the pad and you can pretty much slide it wherever you want.
