if i would make a donation site where you can donate money to me for getting something, would you more likely donate if all the money donated would go to me and all over my goal would go to charity. or
that all the donations would go 50/50 so 50% would go to my cause and the another 50% would go to charity

Beyond your refusal to state what "item" you want...
Why would I give you my money, of which you donate some, when I can make a donation to whatever charity I choose myself?
How do I know you are making the donation to a charity I approve of, or at all?
What type of proof are you going to provide to me and others that donations have been made in our names?
Are you Nigerian by any chance? You know, like a Nigerian prince who wants to enrich random westerners out of the goodness of your heart? Sign me up!
