@vonny,
On my arrival to NYC on Sept 27, I was able to take a taxi from the Brooklyn pier to the Financial District by crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. Then, on the last day before my flight home, I walked around in the Financial District to take some pictures, and here's some I took of the Brooklyn Bridge. I'm sure most of us have seen movies with this bridge in it, and a block from the hotel where I stayed for two nights, they were filming a movie.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, London

The cellar bars, vaults, are series of tiny stone rooms. These vaults were part of the original guest house’s chapel. The steps continue into the cellar proper which dates to a 13th century Carmelite Monastery which once occupied this site and are now another bar and dining area.

... and exactly there was the first European A2K gathering, in March 2003.

@Walter Hinteler,
Looks like they recently painted the place, and ruined the ambiance.

I wonder if there are still some a2k members in London who would like to meet again?

@cicerone imposter,
When are you off to London? I'm not from there, but might be able to pop up.

Crossrail have announced that Crossrail's train tunnels in Docklands and southeast London are now structurally complete, following the breakthrough by tunnel machine Ellie at Victoria Dock Portal in east London.
