@Walter Hinteler,
An interesting video at the BBC-website: Thames Tunnel: Rare access to 'eighth wonder of world'
Quote:
The Thames Tunnel was once known as the eighth wonder of the world.

In Victorian times, hundreds of thousands of Londoners flocked to see it - amazed at how they were able to walk beneath the river.

However these days it is no longer a tourist attraction and the public rarely gets to see it, as Charlotte Franks reports.

@Walter Hinteler,

The new 760-metre-long bridge leading out from the coastline to Mont Saint-Michel. (Architect Dietmar Feichtinger designed the Passerelle Mont Saint-Michel to replace the 135-year-old causeway.)
