trespassing assessor in west virginia

I live in the country outside the populated area. the assessor each year does rounds to watch peoples properties. I have a gated drive fenced property no trespassing signs everywhere. Each year these people leave a flyer on my door for me to call them. I have made no improvements. The fact that he clearly jumped the fence or our the gate i consider trespassing. Am I wrong? Calling him the guy gets a attitude acting as if he's superior to me and can violate my privacy.

@dieseldude,
Where do you get the attitude that you are above the law and can personally just block his legal duty to do his job?

What I get from this? I can imagine that you made plenty of improvements but you want to not pay your taxes.

They can't just take the word of the property owner. That's what tax scofflaws do. They lie to the appropriate authorities.

@tsarstepan,
Actually I have made no improvements none whatsoever. i just want privacy people have a right to that incase you forgot. I ain't above the law but the fact still stands he has to abide by laws also. People have a right to privacy jumping a 6 foot fence climbing over a 5 foot gate trespassing is against the law. Its real easy to send a letter schedule a appointment leave the flyer at the gate climbing the gate/fence is a bit much. The "supreme law of the land" the us constitutions and the ratified amendments have guaranteed a persons rights to privacy and require all public officials agents and persons have to notify said owner. In which the owner can if they so choose refuse to permit access, search, audit, without the presentation of a warrant. Alleged zoning or land use violations do not establish constitutional reasons for entering land. And it also comes into fact auditors for the county are required by law to do this for each property every 5 years. I go threw this every year.

Some people still do exist in this world that move outside cities and like there privacy.
