Semantics - How would you define...

I am wondering how people would define the following words/phrases as they apply to how one feels about another person:

- Affection
- Fondness
- "Soft spot" (no jokes required)
- Attachment
- Love, but not in love with
- Emotional affair

If necessary I'll give more context later but I would really just like your first, gut reactions to these words/phrases. Thanks!
