I find myself wandering around
Heavy heart and emotionally bound
Keep seeing you everywhere I turn
My love for you continues to burn
Miss reading your messages you left on my phone
Your open arms when I went home
The way you brushed your fringe away from your face
By your side was my favorite place
The smile aimed my way before you switched off the light.
Then drifted off to sleep each night.
The way your eyes said good morning
Followed by the cute little sound you made while yawning
We use to walk together hand in hand.
Fingers interlocked footsteps in the sand.
The waves crashed in the distance before greeting the shore
You are without doubt the only girl I adore.
Memories are made. They are forever.
Part of our life we all endeavor.
Blessed I am to have had such a love
Perhaps divine intervention sent from above
Goodbye my angel my sweet little dove
I wish you the best. Even that wouldn't be enough.
