Why Is That

Reply Wed 1 Jan, 2014 09:43 pm
I'd once mentioned I believed in a god
And everything along with
Claimed christian upon times
In and out of churches since three to four years of age
In all honesty, have always been confused
Asking myself questions
Asked others questions
Still had questions I didn't bother asking because I knew they couldn't be answered
Throughout my life wanted to feel I fit in so yeah claimed being of christian religion
This day I've not a friend here by my side
Individuals I've always been around throughout my life claimed, continuously claim Christian
Mm. But why so critical, and everything along with
Why have nothing to do with me
I'm quiet yes. Reserved, but recently been sharing. for reason
Throughout my life confused
No friends
No one to attempt to honestly understand what was wrong with me
Guess it wasn't obvious
I'm sure if I spoke with a preacher man he'd openly share words. to an extent
But other than that not a one cares to have conversation
Share anything with me as in words, have anything to do with me referring to all who claim Christian
Why is that
Call me paranoid
But could it be because people who claim Christian have told just about everyone that would listen to them to have nothing to do with me
To not waste their time with me. Etc else similar as
Am I that hideous
Is it my life how I've lived it
I mean hell I'm not that much overweight weighing at one thirty eight for one to seriously have nothing to do with me
Losing weight is simple, all you have to do is have the right mind set.
Which right now I don't. Never have.
Always difficult. My mind.
Never had the ability to fully understand much of anything. My entire life.
I would had fell into an accepting individual, into accepting individuals
Who would truly understand
Care to understand
Yet I've found a lead
Want to take it
Something's holding me, keeping me
A religion other than Christianity is not hard to fall into, it's not for me
Why is that

@anonymously99stwin,
Answer;
Read through your prose. Look how self-centred it is.
Consider the view that ones concept of "self" is acquired through social conditioning. You have been socially/tribally conditioned as "a Christian" but you have intellectually rejected its story line.
The "no friends" issue may be related to your egocentricity. You may have thrown out that baby with the bath water common to many religions (and humanism) called " concern for the needs of others". By genuinely putting others first the problems of "self" tend to dissipate

BTW. I am an atheist.

@anonymously99stwin,
Anon..

We are all made up of differences.. Some people evolve from shyness, some are introverted and can not change.

You are who you are. If you seek the Church that would be the easiest place to make friends, apparently but to you apparently not.

You will never get the answers they don't lie here on Earth if they did, people would not be questioning seeking Scientific answers as solutions or the Church as their whole answer.

Everyone has "good" qualities about them, passions whether they know it or not.

What is a passion of yours?

What do you see that is good about yourself?

Don't say nothing, you would be lying.

@anonymously99stwin,
No. I suggest "mental" is just a label which your egocentricity hides behind. There are no purely mental events because such events are always reported using the social medium of language. The "self" is like an argumentative committee. You need to replace the current chairman for one concerned with others.

@anonymously99stwin,
Having different voices in your head is not specifically a problem. what you need to do is get those voices on talking terms so they can both come to a consensus before consulting you, it is conflict in your mind that will hit you the hardest. At least thats what I do...

@Smileyrius,
I don't feel it possible. for me to do so.

I'm psychotic and need to accept the fact.

What "fact"....that each of us has conflicting aspects of personality ?
Quote:
One of man’s important mistakes, one which must be remembered, is his illusion in regard to his I.
Man such as we know him... cannot have a permanent and single I. His I changes as quickly as his thoughts, feelings and moods, and he makes a profound mistake in considering himself always one and the same person; in reality he is always a different person, not the one he was a moment ago.Man has no permanent and unchangeable I. Every thought, every mood, every desire, every sensation, says "I".Man has no individual I. But there are, instead, hundreds and thousands of separate small "I"s, very often entirely unknown to one another, never coming into contact, or, on the contrary, hostile to each other, mutually exclusive and incompatible. Each minute, each moment, man is saying or thinking, "I". And each time his I is different. Just now it was a thought, now it is a desire, now a sensation, now another thought, and so on, endlessly. Man is a plurality. Man's name is legion.
G.I.Gurdjieff

I suggest you are no different from anybody else. The label "psychotic" doesn't help.

@anonymously99stwin,
These Christian two strut around as if they'd done nothing wrong
By their actions,
They are perfect beings
Assuming they feel.
They claim Christian
So they must be perfect yeah?
Yet critical, they criticize
Make people feel they want nothing to do with me, the two
Make sure I've no one by my side at least have attempted so with all they could, ((look not a Christian to say hey I'm here for you))
Guess because I'd refused them, the two who claim christian, refused to give into them
It's a mental situation
Why the hell should I give into them when they refused to try to understand me
Anything about me
They're critical
Words of others are of more importance to them
Fu*k getting to know me trying to understand me my mind how it works
They're too good for that
They can't stand the thought of others being critical toward them based on their actions, based on who they communicate with, etc etc

@anonymously99stwin,
No man is perfect my friend, Your two Christians do not sound very much like christ. I will share with you some of the wisest words I have lived my life by.

"There are those that build up, and those that tear down. If any man should attempt to tear you down, wipe the dust from your feet and move on. When they have no one left to tear down, they will tear themselves to the ground" - my mother
