Right sequence to getting your work out

....perhaps for new writer there is a more effective way to getting your work out there. I've seen various such as sending it to online magazines, signing up for competitions, e.t.c Anyway, I listed them all below could somebody please explain which should come first? or does it not really matter in which order you do them.

- Online Blogs
- Publishers
- Competitions (online and local)
- sending work to Magazines
- co-writing
- Self Publishing.
