Was wondering if anybody remembers the countrytime ads of the mid 90's?...there was a very catchy theme song, of some 1930's song or something....can anybody tell me what that song was...been looking around the web, but without results....if anyone can help out that would be great

Thanks!

I don't remember a jingle at all. Of course, I didn't watch much TV in the '90s.

What I do remember is how funny I thought it was that they described their product as something to the effect of: Country Time Lemonade Lemon Flavored Drink Mix.

It always seemed like a legal jumping through hoops...does it contain lemons, or is it just lemon flavored?

country time lemonade
My friend says the Country Time Lemonade ad was performed by Bill Eaton. I guess he's famous for singing jingles. The song is called "Country Time Memories" - I haven't found much on it either.

Country Time
There were two commercials with thier own songs. One was " Memories "Bill Eaton & The Other was " I keep your picture " by David Dundas, I liked those songs too ( I was a DJ at the time )..I actually called Country Time way back when & They sent me a cassete tape of the two songs. Im not sure if they have any more, I still have mine & will be recording them to my PC. maybe I could email ya the mp3's when Im done ?

Amazing that, no matter how obscure something is thta you are looking for, someone else is doing the same... I remember my Mother liked that song from the Countrytime commercial & I wanted to e-mail it to her sometime if I could find it. Have you found your tape yet? I would greatly appreciate an mp3 myself.

Similar at least
You might try "Hang on, Little Tomato" by Pink Martini - its quite similar to the ads, and it might have the mood you are looking for.

Country Time Lemonade
Hi. I have been looking all over for the music from the Country Time Lemonade ads of the 90's. I even recently called the company to ask if they might possibly still have a tape hanging around, but with no luck.
I would really appreciate it if someone could send me an MP3.
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who was looking for this!
Thanks so much!

That country time song, stuck in my head in the nicest way
Hi there, those of you with a love for that song that Country Time chose
so well. Bill Eaton's Memories or the David Dundas I've got your picture.
If any one would care to share, I would be most obliged.
I'm in that end of winter funk and I'm fixated on this song
getting me out of it.
Please help, if you can.

And many thanks,
Kristina

Hi..I have converted the songs to mp3's. I couldn't find the cassette for a loooong time. Since these do not exist to purchase or acquire, there should be no issue with sharing.

I have uploaded them to share:

Bill Eaton - Memories

David Dundas - I keep Your Picture

Is it the same David Dundas that did 'Jeans On' that also began life as a TV commercial?

Yes, this song has some "studio" work done to his voice to give it the 1940's sound.

@goldmoon,
Why is there a need to reload them? They still play at the links he provided. I just listened to them. You can download them from those links to your PC.
