NATO invades Brussels

Panic! Panic!
Without joking Belgium Government has gone mad. They allowed various NATO institutions buy realty in Brussels for a song. Those ordinances obliging all office owners in Leopold and European Quarters to relinquish their property or long-leased premises upon first request of those "gentlemen" were just published. At once all those Eastern European NATO newly members rushed to pre-empt the best places.
Yesterday such Romanian "gentleman" (or Hungarian - we couldn't truly tell) came to the office of our Bank. He didn't speak neither French, nor Dutch and communicated in severe pig-English. So we could hardly know what he's trying to tell us. According his talk I suspected that he is rather accustomed to speak with his serves. We just understood that we are "fine fellows" and that "this place will do". And that was a catastrophe.
Our Bank exists here for the last two centuries. We are in Leopold Quarter. That is very prestigious area of Brussels. Rent of 1 Bedroom Apartment costs about € 16000 a year. I'm just a note teller. So cannot tell the exact price of our Bank property. For sure it isn't € 50000 the Government offers us as amends.
What is NATO good for in Brussels? Cannot find any profit for Belgians. Now those newcomers from Eastern Europe come and rob us. Yesterday pinkos, and before that serve owners they were. Now they come and occupy Brussels as if they were masters for us. And what if we refuse to give them what they want. Will they break into our houses and kick us out?
