I need help figuring out what the Hebrew parts say. It has been a family mystery and I am trying to do the family tree.

The second one, in the middle, says Bar Moshe, which means son of Moses. The third one, also in the middle, says Bat Moshe, which means daughter of Moses.

I can't figure out the name of who Fanny is the daughter of (I admit I get samech and mem confused, and resh and daled confused as well).

I'll give it a shot...not sure i can take much further than Jespah. but I'll give it the Yiddish-Evrit try:

There are English translations on the site gives a short-hand version.

In the cases where I can't translate exactly, I'll give the pronunciations but not the exact. from there you can use translation programs to perhaps get you further.

Are you aware if you bring it to any rabbi, they can translate it literally?

Bas (daughter) of R'altad ? Yakov (Jacob)

as near as I can the next 2 lines may have to do with Hebraic dates but not so sure. I think these are less important info...but i'm winging it there,.

Victor Wynbrandt
Avino (our father) Hykor (? Paul ?) Tzedek (righteous)
Avin-dor (father-generation? something...?) Mayer (meyer) bar (son) of Moshe (Moses/moishe)

Hebrew dates..Ayyir or Iyyar (month of April? and or more date info

Chaiyah soroh (Sarah) daughter of Moshe \
date info? tevas (?) Tshod or Tshor (no idea?)

That's the best I can do for 'ya.

If you see a rabbi for translation, tell him/her ... a bar mitzvah boy tried this after 50 yrs of being away from his Hebrew schooling.

I know this is years late. I'll answer just in case you still don't know what the Hebrew means.

1: Fanny
Here lies (Hebrew acronym for Po Niqberet, "here is buried")
Our valuable, modest, composed mother
Daughter of R[abbi] Alter Ya`aqov (Hebrew for Jacob)
Deceased 12 Sivan [5]673 (Hebrew month and year)
[May] her soul be bound in the bond of life (Hebrew acronym)

2: Victor
Here lies
Our valuable father, a worker of justice
Avigdor Mayer son of R[abbi] Mosheh (Hebrew for Moses)
Deceased 1 of R.QH. 'Iyyar [5]712 (R.QH means "first of the month")
[May] his soul be bound in the bond of life

3: Sarah
Khayya Sarah
Daughter of R[abbi] Mosheh
Deceased 12 Tevet [5]704

I'm not the original poster, but I'll thank you for them.

And chag sameach pesach in a few days, if you celebrate. Smile
