Perhaps, you need to parse your definition of "white"? Are you talking only about the whites of the nineteenth century, or are you including those that are white as of the 20th century. The problem exists, since different people have different definitions of non-white. I am not including the definitions made by people with cataracts.
Plus, there is the whole problem of the suffix, "ish." Meaning, when it is windyish, it is sort of windy, but not quite windy. So, is it possible that there are people that are whitish, but not quite white, at least not in the definition perhaps of some Europeans, and perhaps some Americans? Anyway, do we include those with Neanderthal DNA as white? If not, there are many non-white Europeans that think they are white (aka, pure homosapiens). And, Africans do not have Neanderthal DNA. Does that make them white (aka, pure homosapiens)?
