Project Help

I have to do a project that is completely up to me. It can literally be anything that is researchable. This includes writing a report, doing a lab, etc. Problem is, I have noooo idea what to do or what to do it over. It has to be a year-long project. If it helps, my best subjects are English, history, and science that's not chemistry. I also plan on going into mortuary science. I've contacted a local funeral home who have helped me with a project in the past and asked about doing an internship or job shadow, but I'm not exactly sure what I would do with that. Any ideas? My proposal is due by Friday! I'm stressing about this.
