Is it justifiable to punch a mime just for being a mime?

No.

Unless that was staged, the mime should press charges for assault.

@oralloy,
Are you missing a funny bone? If you're oddly referring to the video game clip in the OP as if its a real video?? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I didn't see any indication that it was a video game clip.

If it was not real then I guess there is no case of assault.

@oralloy,
You must have a really really cheap computer not to notice the clips glaring glitches and artifacts plus that the rain looks animated like the characters and the background.

@tsarstepan,
No, it's not.

But the mime was telling him (in mime) that he'd be happier if he'd just resolve to stop being angry at the world and start trying to climb the corporate ladder like everyone else. You definitely have the right the slug anyone who tells you that, in any language.

@OmSigDAVID,
You're going to have to ask the video game designers on that question. I'm guessing they want real world like weather to add realism to the video game. ((shrugs))

@OmSigDAVID,
The law in that State says you can only hit a mime if it's raining.

@tsarstepan,
Not those dressed like that chap. Only those stupid ones all dressed in white or silver. They deserve it!

@margo,
I used to like the Mime guy on Venice boardwalk. Well, I would. Haven't seen any recently since I'm not there no mo'. Would never have socked him. Takes perseverance to withstand the changing crowd atmosphere there...

Favorite theater group of mine (have seen many many many small plays) was the San Francisco Mime Troupe, though again I haven't seen them lately. Probably would still like them; I think they are still kicking. They weren't quiet though, snort.

@ossobuco,
Personally, I have no words to describe how I feel about mimes.

I think you can catch the illness through the deer tick. (mime disease)

@ossobuco,
I once saw a guy called Mr. Fantastic do a mime called The Conductor at Glastonbury Festival. It was really funny and he received a standing ovation. If someone is good at what they do the result is good whether it be mime or anything else. The Universal appeal of Mr. Bean shows people will pay to see good mime.

Those guys with white faces who annoy passers by on the streets are dicks though.
