No.

Unless that was staged, the mime should press charges for assault.

Virtually or literally?

@tsarstepan,
I'm just terribly afraid that mimes are the next step in our evolution as humans. And I can't really stomach that idea... The thought alone makes me speechless. Mimes have no business throwing their evolutionary forwardness in my face!

At the time I wrote that, I believed it to be a real video, though possibly staged.

I now understand differently, but now this entire thread is utterly incomprehensible to me. (I'm still attempting to figure it out though.)

@oralloy,
It's just idle humor, nothing more.

@Finn dAbuzz,
French mimes are the zombies of the clown world! Clearly the evilest of the species! Shocked

@ossobuco,

In apology to Tom Waits

There is no mime, just clown when he's drunk.

Yes; the most fundamental criterion of mime
is that only fellows named Richard r eligible to do it.

Even your sarcasm is lame . . . it was wry humor, which i don't expect you to understand, a paraphrase of Winston Churchill, and if one were to liken it to a weapon, it was a bludgeon. You deserve no better.

In my personal opinion,
it is unethical to shoot them.

@tsarstepan,
I had words with a mime; however, it was a one-sided affair.

David, certainly if they were pantomiming that they were robbing you one would be within their rights to shoot them in self defense.

No. In fairness, only counter-miming is reasonably acceptable.
(I 'm trying to remember: is that in the NRA By Laws ?)
