"Collector's Lament"

It's time to slim down my caboodle,
(I know that I could like austere!)
Oh, all my pelf! -me in the moodle!
it's getting hard to move in here!

my bane is over-acquisition,
but I can't dig my digs no more,
because my self, from this position
sees only 'stuff', but not the floor,

I could some day be Assisi
(with all I own upon my back)
but I am (frankly) just too busy
managing my bric-a-brac.
