I just got a Philips blu ray/dvd player. It has a digital coaxial output but my tv only has the Yellow/Red/White plug ins. Is there a cable in existence I can buy to connect this player to my tv? Give this to me in the most simple terms. (i.e. one plug on one end and 3 y/r/w plugs on the other) I live in China and cannot easily return cables if I buy the wrong ones, so I want to know what I'm looking for. I also don't speak enough of the language to receive help from an audio/video guy here.
It sounds like you are dealing with digital output and your TV only accepts analog input.
No cable is going to convert a digital signal to an analog signal.
It is possible (probable, even) that some sort of conversion device exists, but it will not be a mere cable.

What model? Without this information you will get little help.
They usually have an HDMI output (video and audio) and a coaxial digital output (audio for a home cinema system). If you have an older TV with 3 x RCA sockets you will need a converter box (not just a cable)
