Found under a sheet.... what is it?

Earlier this week when changing my sheets I found this insect, with an abdomen of about 7mm. It was dead.

It doesn't really resemble the images of insects I thought it might be. Any ideas?

Can you provide a higher resolution photo?

In what country or area was it found?

Thanks both.

I don't manage to get a much better image than this (my simple camera won't manage close ups).
It was found in the Netherlands.

It may be a kind of springtail indeed.
