I live in southern Brazil. This afternoon I found a clump (20, 30?!) of these bugs all together right above my window. Black with a red stripe, and its mouth looks like it's for biting. I'm from Italy so I'm not sure which bugs here bite and which don't.
I uploaded seven pictures of it on imgur for identification:

Could somebody identify it? Thank you!!

@ruffo,
It looks like some type of Assassin Bug Nymph to me, but I'm not sure what type. I'll try to narrow it down a bit if I get some time.

Assassin bugs don't go out of their way to bite people. I'm not even sure their mouth parts are capable of biting a person. They eat other insects. So I doubt you need to worry about them biting you.

@rosborne979,
I almost pm'd you, Ros, because I figured you'd be interested.

Me, that's a bug I'd want on the outside of my place, for sure. Handsome in its way.
