I was wondering if it may have been a type of theistic neuro imaging because he brings up religion a few times.

But in all seriousness he does say that they are not holes but a lack of activity.

I guess it could be.

I wonder if Christopher Hitchens's scans would have shown the same results of smoking and drinking?
Maybe what they were showing was not what smoking and drinking does to a theist but what theism does to the brain of theists.
