Not that far off surely, not, dare I say it, in Milwaulkie or Long Beach. Still I can just see you struttin' your stuff man.
But hey Booman, you are one cool cat brother. I only knew that stuff about Doris coz I looked it up and now I know a bit more.

Music is a great vehicle for communication and changing 5000 miles into a local phone call.

Bedtime for me bro. any minute now.

Hey Booman == Otis Redding, I downloaded a duet medley of him with Etta James earlier and 2 Janis Joplin CDs. I'll give you the lo-dow over the weekend.

What about this one guys and guyesses ? :

It seems to me a crime that we should age
These fragile times should never slip us by
A time you never can or shall erase
As friends together watch their childhood fly

Embarrassed Thank you kind Sir.

May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift.

May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
May you~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Joan Baez is my favorite female singer of all time. I saw her in concert approximately 8 years ago and loved every minute of it.

Edgar,
...I take umbrage, with the term, "ripped off". When an artist's song is covered, not only are they complimented, but paid, via royalties.

It's been recorded by at least a whole lotta people but who wrote it

I'm a little red rooster, too lazy to crow for days
Just a little red rooster, too lazy to crow for days
Keep everything in the barnyard people, upset in every way

Dogs begin to bark now and the hounds begin to howl
Dogs begin to bark now and the hounds begin to howl
Watch out stray cat people the little red rooster is on the prowl

If you see the little red rooster, won't you please drive him home
If you see my little red rooster, won't you please drive him home
Been no peace in the barnyard people, since the little red rooster's been gone

Yeah and the little red rooster, well you ain't **** to me
Think you're a stud boy, well I doubt you'll ever be
While your away I'm gonna **** with your hens, boy
I'm just bein' neighborly
