Trespassers Will said:-

It may have been Camelot for Jack and Jacqueline,
But on the Che Guevara Highway, filling up with gasoline,
Fidel Castro's brother spies a rich lady who's crying
over luxury's disappointment, so he walks over, and he's trying
to sympathise with her, but he thinks that he should warn her
that the Third World is just around the corner...

P & L

That'll be Happiness runs by Donovan , who I saw in concert in 1972 at The Winter Gardens n Bournemouth, Dorset, England and he was brilliant- " They call me mellow yellow, quite right "

Who was responsible for these lyrics and what was special about the occasion :-

You can bring a bowl of rice and then a glass of water too

Hi trespassers will..... actually, I had missed the answer to your question, too.... I was just about to post an answer, when I realized that it had already been answered!!

It's not unusual to have two questions going at the same time. It keeps the game moving!!

Hi hiama.... I'm trying to find an answer to your question..... How about a clue???

Very Happy

I'm jumping in here for two reasons:
1) I need a clue about the current question. (All I will say about personal experiences is that baking the skins in a oven and scrapping off the crispy parts and smoking them ...... did not work. )
2) I'm hoping this is page 100.

Okay so I wasn't even working on the right question.

Now :
The yellow Buddhist monk is burning brightly at the zoo
You can bring a bowl of rice and then a glass of water too
And fate is setting up the chessboard while death rolls out the dice
Anyone for tennis, wouldn't that be nice?
Eric Clapton

It was special because ERIC CLAPTON was playing.

Yes? No?

So well done

YAY, Joe! Do you want to ask a question?

While you're thinking about your question, I'll throw something out.....

here's the lyrics.....

The _________,
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
I've seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to you door

The wild and windy night
That the rain washed away
Has left a pool of tears
Crying for the day
Why leave me standing here
Let me know the way

Many times I've been alone
And many times I've cried
Anyway you'll never know
The many ways I've tried

But still they lead me back
To the ________
You left me standing here
A long long time ago
Don't leave me waiting here
Lead me to your door

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

.......name that tune.......

These lyrics seem appropriate. Name the songwriter and the band that recorded it:

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

For what it's worth by Stephen Stills , recorded by Buffalo Springfield

Question:-

Who sang this and from what album did it come ?

And I said high tide, mid afternoon
People fly by, in the traffics boom

If there's a way to say I'm sorry, perhaps I'll stay another evening, beside your door, and watch the moon rise, inside your window, where jewels are falling, and flowers weeping, and strangers laughing, because you're dreaming that I have gone.

And if I don't know why I'm going, perhaps I'll wait beside the pathway where no one's coming, and count the questions I turned away from, or closed my eyes to, or had no time for, or passed right over because the answers would shame my pride.

I've hear them say the word "forever", but I don't know if words have meaning, when they are promised in fear of losing what can't be borrowed, or lent in blindness, or blessed by pageantry, or sold by preachers, while you're still walking your separate ways.

Sometime we bind ourselves together, and seldom know the harm in binding the only feeling that cries for freedom and needs unfolding, and understanding, and time for holding a simple mirror with one reflection to call your own.

If there's an end to all our dreaming, perhaps I'll go while you're still standing beside your door, and I'll remember your hands encircling a bowl of moonstones, a lamp of childhood, a robe of roses, because your sorrows were still unborn.

Hi dyslexia.....

the answer is "Reflections in a Crystal Wind", by Richard Farina.

Hi hiama.....

the answer is "Wild Wood", by Paul Weller

New Question.....

here's the lyrics.....

Look outside the window, there's a woman being grabbed
They've dragged her to the bushes and now she's being stabbed
Maybe we should call the cops and try to stop the pain
But Monopoly is so much fun, I'd hate to blow the game
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

Riding down the highway, yes, my back is getting stiff
Thirteen cars are piled up, they're hanging on a cliff.
Maybe we should pull them back with our towing chain
But we gotta move and we might get sued and it looks like it's gonna rain
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

Sweating in the ghetto with the colored and the poor
The rats have joined the babies who are sleeping on the floor
Now wouldn't it be a riot if they really blew their tops?
But they got too much already and besides we got the cops
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

Oh there's a dirty paper using sex to make a sale
The Supreme Court was so upset, they sent him off to jail.
Maybe we should help the fiend and take away his fine.
But we're busy reading Playboy and the Sunday New York Times
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

Smoking marihuana is more fun than drinking beer,
But a friend of ours was captured and they gave him thirty years
Maybe we should raise our voices, ask somebody why
But demonstrations are a drag, besides we're much too high
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

Oh look outside the window, there's a woman being grabbed
They've dragged her to the bushes and now she's being stabbed
Maybe we should call the cops and try to stop the pain
But Monopoly is so much fun, I'd hate to blow the game
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

Down in Santiago where they took away our mines
We cut off all their money so they robbed the storehouse blind
Now maybe we should ask some questions, maybe shed a tear
But I bet you a copper penny, it cannot happen here
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody
............

.......name that tune.......
