New Question.....

here's the lyrics.....

(this song was in the movie "Erin Brochovich")

I hitched a ride with a vending machine repair man
He says he's been down this road more than twice
He was high on intellectualism
I've never been there but the brochure looks nice
Jump in, let's go lay back, enjoy the show
Everybody gets high, everybody gets low,
These are the days when anything goes

.......name that tune.......

Gotta have a question.

Who sings:

I'm sick and tired of waking up
I'm sick and tired of rolling off the bus
I want to sleep forever
In the lies I've made
The checks have bounced
But the bills got paid so far
On the Jaguar
I call myself
The lines get crossed
On the shortwave
I get cut off
Cause I can't behave
Very well
You think you know me
But you don't know my way around
Hell
Is just below me
And that's why I keep falling down

I'm praying to resist temptation
Staying within my constellation
Weighing every intonation
Betraying alienation

I quit sobriety
I joined up with insanity ..........................

Hi P & L ===== Korrect it'z not a song. Think Rockumentary movie about an imaginary Brit rock band, mid 80s.

Didn't mean to confuze you like that. We are having our first snow of the winter, now that is confuzing.

Hi OaK....

"This Is Spinal Tap"

http://www.roadie.net/spinaltap.htm

We're having an "El Nino" weather pattern this winter. It's been unusually warm. The ski resorts are really suffering, with slushy rain-soaked snow.

Have fun playing in the snow!!

New Question.......

here's the lyrics.......

Forever and ever
You'll stay in my heart, and I will love you
Forever and ever
We never will part, oh how I'll love you
Together, together
That's how it will be, to live without you
Would only mean heartbreak for me

.......name that tune.......

Hi P & L it's Dionne Warwick and the song "I say a little prayer"

I recognised the lyric and then the tune but i couldn't remember the title, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I looked 'em up and voila.

Now Prince had Purple Rain, Hendrix had Purple Haze, but who had "The Purple People Eater" ????????????????//

New Question.......

here's the lyrics.......

Sweet wonderful you,
You make me happy with the things you do,
Oh, can it be so,
This feeling follows me wherever I go.
I never did believe in miracles,
But I've a feeling it's time to try.
I never did believe in the ways of magic,
But I'm beginning to wonder why.

Don't, don't break the spell,
It would be different and you know it will,
You, ____ _____ _____ _____,
And I don't have to tell you you're the only one.

.......name that tune.......
