I did not realize you had asked the question. Was preoccupied with personal matters.

Who wrote a song inspired by a shaken can of Pepsi and what was the song?

Hi edgar... I need a clue, too.... I found some interesting websites about Pepsi, and what happens when the can is shaken.... did you know that a can of shaken Pepsi rolls slower than a can of non-shaken Pepsi??? LOL!

technically, dyslexia got it right. Otis Blackwell wrote it for Elvis Presley. Someone said to him, "You can write a song about anything." He shook up a Pepsi. "Write one about this."

Hi edgar -- easy questions are good!! They keep the game moving!! I went through quite a few websites, looking for an answer. And, as usual, read lots of interesting articles along the way....

answer is..... Tex Ritter???

New Question.....

The lyrics for this song were adapted from an old testament Bible verse, by singer-songwriter Pete Seeger. The Byrds recorded a version of this song in 1965.

What is the name of the song........
