Dear English teachers.
When I was browsing the web, I bumped into the following and it is stuck on my mind.
Question:
The word, "co-developed"... was used with "by" and "with":
1. "Maserati's First Ever Diesel Engine Co-Developed with Ferrari, Built in Maranello"
(http://www.carscoops.com/2013/04/maserati-first-ever-diesel-engine-co.html)
2. "The engines are co-developed by Maserati and Ferrari (V8 turbo with 520 hp and a V6 turbo with 420 hp)"
(http://www.autoedizione.com/licensed-drawings-reveal-maserati-quattroporte-2013/)
I believe that these are both correct, but the preposition changes due to the sentence structure?
@geyser001,
Yes.
The first refers to Maserati with Ferrari, the second to development by Maserati and Ferrari
@geyser001,
Yes Gey I think you have a handle on it
