From another forum. Humans cannot bear too much reality.

Agree or disagree?

@Rickoshay75,
Oh Rick absolutely agree. To the Christian who seems smug for instance I present the position of Porky, whom he hangs by the back legs then skins while alive before cooking and eating. The swinish clique would consider us the epitome of evil, intelligence to be a vice

Here's a better one: Reality is for people with no brainwashing.

Here's a better one, still : Reality is for people with no brainwashing and can handle the truth.

Mark Twain was the first to discover we were ALL brain washed over a hundred years ago.

“When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.” Mark Twain.

I saw one that said, "What is, is, not what you want it to be."

“When we remember we are all mad, the mysteries disappear and life stands explained.” Mark Twain

@Rickoshay75,
This is logically the same as the better-phrased question, Is there a point of too much reality for a person ? But the question is groundless, it is a question about reality and not humanity. Is reality good, all good? I say 'Yes' seen under the view of God, sub specie Dei -- if that is the way to say it.

@AugustineBrother,
It has been said that man cannot live without his delusions, think mythology. Mythology is mythology to an objective perspective, when one believes it, it becomes religion. May Zeus be with you.
