A friend wants this movie to be put on a CD. I have a CD burner. I don't know how to download the movie to my computer (PC).

Enjoy the movie and then tell me how.
Free software suggestions would be good.

Just downloaded the movie from Youtube.

It's playing nicely on my laptop.

There are also a number of websites that offer to download youtube videos. I can't speak to any of them so try them at your own risk.

only problem was it was hit or miss -- some videos downloaded; others didn't.

there was seemingly no rhyme or reason as to why...

Do you own a DVR? You could play it to your TV through your DVR and just press record.

Now, if you want to know how I did, here it is:

1 - Copy the url of the movie.
2 - Go to savevid.com
3 - Past your url there.
4 - Download the movie.

That's it.

Great topic and glad to get an answer I'd never heard of before. Saving this post, for sure. I only know how to use the torrent type of website to save masses of TV shows and movies, never tried to do it with a video like yours or from youTube.
