i enjoy all forums equally.

ask questions, get answers?

I like the question & answer topics a lot...I learn some good stuff. If it weren't for those I probly wouldn't hang around for the chat much, rather than vice versa. I love the debate topics as well & read along intently, but more for learning from the writing styles, logic, etc. of others here than for the subjects being discussed (for example I'm not very interested in US politics). And while I generally avoid the chatty threads, there's always been lots of loony goodness going around..

I like to see the ask/answer threads where you can see folks like Monger, Craven, fishin and Phoenix at their best.

A snap from a recent staff get-together:

A bit of a blast from the past here, from February of last year: The world wide demonstrations opposing the start of the Iraqi invasion. The thread's called SHARE YOUR CITY'S PEACE RALLY HERE, but as well as that, much more happened: arguments, photographs from around the world, more arguments, etc, etc ... It's interesting that this was only a little over a year ago, it seems almost like archival material as I looked over it today. Another interesting thing (for me) was some of the posters who have vanished from A2K.

Anyway, if you're interested, it'll give you some idea of what was happening, what the arguments were at the time & how people responded:

I love the art forum, the cat threads - some really nice people on these, dlowans musings, the help I've had from the computer section, the original writing (purely as a reader),poetry and i dip in and out of lots of others if they are interesting topics.

Setanta and Cav (ok and Craven) have a wide knowledge and ability to put information across in an interesting and concise way that i like, so i would be inclined to read their posts.

so much other stuff that i can't think of at the moment
