In India, will a child under18 be forced to live with his parents if he wants to run away from home?

I first wanna ensure that I'm not planning to do it.
That's for my general knowledge because I'm interested in law.
There're many cases of missing children in India. What'll happen if such a child is discovered & he claims that he doesn't want to live with his/her parents? Will the police allow it?
Is it for some age that the child will be allowed? Or is it by his/her designation?
