Okay so I'm writing a story/book and I can't pick a name for it... I have a list I just can't choose! Here's the list.. based off the names you might be able to guess what the story is about..

1. Alone
2. Listen
3. If...
4. Mariposa (Butterfly)
5. Truth
6. Fly
7. I am...
8. Cinnamon
9. Animal

@UrbanChic15,
Write the story, then select a title. Until complete, just pick any one of them as your working title. As you write the story, you'll get a feel for whether or not the working title fits.

You could call it No Trumpets or Drums. Unless it has trumpets or drums, of course.

Call it Working Title until you work it out.

It's not possible for us to select a title for a book we haven't read and don't know anything about. You're the author. You really should be the one to make the selection.

If nothing comes to you now, wait until the writing is done and then see what feels right.

@UrbanChic15,
The way I last selected a title for my work turned out to be simple. I read the manuscript with that in mind until a phrase jumped out at me. I made it the title.

How Noble in Reason
A Sea of Troubles
A Tale Told by an Idiot
Once More into the Breach
An Ungrateful Child

You can't go wrong with Shakespeare, and it makes you look writerly and sophsitimacated . . .
