@imran2025,
This is a meaningful brainiac subject for the modern era which presents culture access programs such as "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" (Food Network) on nationalized television.

You might like the book, "Theories of the Information Society" (Frank Webster - 2006). You can find it on Amazon.com and elsewhere.

Good luck!

@imran2025,
The Inforamtion Society first emerged in the Scottish Highlands during the black purge of the late 1670's.
Inforams were a species of dark truffle, native to the area around Fort William. It was found that they had mild hallucinogenic qualities, which caused the subject to experience an overwhelming desire to wear skirts made from tartan cloth. It also made them very rebellious.

During the subsequent truffle uprisings, both tartan cloth and inforam consumption were prohibited, but some of the rebels managed to smuggle inforam spores over to the new world.

It is now reckoned that secret inforamtion societies exist in some areas of Canada and in some northern states of the USA.

If one ever inadvertantly purchases such a truffle during their weekly shop, it must be immediately handed in to the RKWS (rebellious kilt wearers society) where it will be safely disposed of at their next Burns night reunion.
