@wjt47,
At least Fox News makes a show of presenting "facts".
You don't even bother to present any evidence to spin.
Bring some information and we can talk.
Otherwise this is just going to amount to a...
[Nuh uh]
[Yeah huh]
[Nuh uh]
[Yeah huh]
Circle of meaninglessness.

@wjt47,
I am looking forward to Obama communism. Look at China, they own half of the US. If we go communist maybe we can purchase some of it back from them.

@RABEL222,
No evidence yet of Obama's "communism".
Do you even know what communism means?

@RABEL222,
Rabel,
I apologize for that last comment.
It was snide. Sad
I would be happy to discus any perception you have that Obama or his administration is advocating or advancing communism.
Sorry again!

@MattDavis,
If you stick around this site you will find that I often state the opposite of what I believe. I know what communism is and also know that China and Russia are no more communist than the US of A is a democracy. Welcome to the site and you had better develop a thick skin because many on this site will attack rather than reason.

No. It is not illegal to be a communist (at least not since the end of the McCarthy era).
I suppose we could always return to that:

@MattDavis,
I thought the conservatives already had. You know, fear government and everyone who dosent agree with you completely.

@RABEL222,
I've said it before, but as the cliche goes... I'll say it again.
Most "conservatives" in this country have no right to call themselves conservative.
Conservative values prize stability and to promote principles (human rights/human freedoms) over personal desires (bigotry).
The GOP is no longer a conservative party.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Do you mean in terms of the historical period of the Red Scare?
...or how the term is used to describe a certain method of discrediting political adversaries?

@MattDavis,
The former.

You used a graphic which, in essense, labels Glenn Beck as a McCarthyite. This is a perfect example of the latter.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Clever, but actually no.

My posting of that picture is not an example of McCarthyism, because being McCatharyite is not illegal, nor is it illegal to be sympathetic to McCarthyism.
If I had posted a picture suggesting that Glen Beck, was a terrorist that would be an act of McCarthyism.

@MattDavis,
Well, perhaps you do understand McCarthyism, but this leads to the obvious question: Why then did you post the graphic that clearly labels Beck a McCarthyite?

@Finn dAbuzz,
Because Beck has a propensity for accusing his political adversaries of being terrorist sympathizers.
For instance :

Notice also the emotional effect of criticizing the President of the United States, while the camera pans around the mock Oval Office that is his televised studio.
Mind game propaganda at it's best (or worst) depending of course on how you feel about Beck's message.

Do you mean kinda like Finn's signature line, Matt?

To return to office a narcissistic amateur who seeks to ride this nation's economy and international esteem to oblivion, like Slim Pickens riding the nuclear bomb to its target at the end of the movie "Dr. Strangelove," would be disastrous."
