Then I moved on to choose your own adventure books until I was introduced to Piers Anthony and the Xanth series. Those kept me throughly entertained all the way through middle school.

Fair Play....one of Munro Leafs lesser known books, I read it quite often as a very small boy, and it has a comfortable home on my desk 30 odd years later.
